A renowned cleric, the founder and spiritual leader of Christ Deliverance Ministries ( CDM) Inc, Lagos. His lordship, Prophet Ekong Ituen is one of Nigeria’s most respected prophets, whose predictions have shaken the high and mighty in the country. Ituen is an exceptional cleric with a track record of accurate predictions. It is on record that before 2011 elections, he predicted and gave insights on the outcome of the result published in Sunday Independent newspaper of January 30th, 2011 page 34. and Sunday Mirror of April 03, 2011 page 29.

Prominent among his predictions are the political defeats of the former Governors of Oyo and Imo States,  Chiefs Alao Akala and Ikedi Ohakim respectively,  while he predicted victory for Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as president. Prophet Ituen shocked Nigerians when he predicted the death of the former governor of Kaduna State, that a sitting governor will die mysteriously before the end of 2012, it was a vindication of sorts when Late Governor Patrick Yakowa died same year in a helicopter crash, and this was published in Daily Sun of January 19th, 2012 page 38.

The current crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party PDP was what he foresaw and predicted, he said it among his 2013 predictions that the Party will be engulfed with serious crisis that will rock the foundation of the party, as there will be division and disunity among them and Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, their national chairman will be faced with many challenges that will force him to resign or sacked in future.
It is also on record that he predicted and warned president Jonathan to be careful of some Northern States Governors as they will turn against him and will not be there when he needs them most, but the warning was not heeded-hence the outcome, this was also published in Daily Sun of January 4, 2013 page 43 and a follow up on the Nation of March 31, 2013 page 57.

The problem and confusion in Nigeria’s governor’s forum is a manifestation of his earlier prediction, but Ituen said though he foresaw and predicted the crisis, the President had a good chance to avert the problem if he had issued a congratulatory message to Gov. Amaechi immediately the result of the election was announced. Prophet Ituen who is described as Nostradamus of Nigeria has this to his credit.

The emergence of Boko Haram,  the resignation of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo from his position as chairman PDP Board of Trustees, the political clash between Obasanjo and President Jonathan, the removal of Akwa Ibom State SSG – Obong Okon Umana from office among others. But speaking with the media recently on his latest predictions and the state of the nation, the prophet assured governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State a great deal with God in future as he will be justified at the end of the day, while Gov.

He cautioned President Jonathan to be watchful over Judas Iscariot among some governors who presently claimed to be very close, loyal and committed to his 2015 project but are worse than G7 governors in all ramifications because of his political ambition to become the next President or Vice president respectively. According to Prophet Ituen, the President will one day realize that he was surrounded by enemies as most of the people very closed to him are more of his enemies than his friends but prays that God should endow him with the spirit of discernment to dictate a pure heart. He urged Nigerians to pray fervently for Ooni of Ife in Osun State against a brief illness that will take his life as earlier predicted and published in Daily Sun of January 4, 2013 page 43.

Speaking from spiritual perspective, Prophet Ituen warned Nigeria’s governors forum against another death as one of them will die again before the end of their tenure, but to avert this, he urged them to embark on solemn assembly with two days fasting and prayers, with men of God who are spiritually filled. The cleric lambasted the government and the leadership of this country for ignoring the voice and warning of God, and as long as they are taking God for granted everything will continue to happen as predicted.
In the area of security challenges, the prophet said nothing will stop Boko Haram insurgence in Nigeria excerpt God, he described Amnesty package for Boko Haram as a failure in progress because to him, it will not work in any form.

He wondered why Federal Government has refused to take to his advice, when he had already predicted from inception that Amnesty for Boko Haram will not work because the Islamic militants do not believe in it, because they are since executing an ideology with an agenda, they will find it difficult to back down, no amount of inducement and appeasement will deter them. He urged the government to go back to his advice because the solution to Boko Haram insurgent in Nigeria lies in God’s hands through him and his government not to rely solely on the State of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states but God, since it is a temporary solution that will not salvage the situation in entirety. He admonished all hands to be on deck through prayers to prevent this country from disintegration in 2015.
