THE PROPHET WHO PREDICTED THE DEATH OF LATE PRESIDENT YAR’ADUA & BOMB BLASTS IN NIGERIA.
Akwa Ibom born cleric, Prophet Ekong Ituen, the founder and spiritual leader of Christ Deliverance Ministries {CDM} Lagos, is a strong spiritual factor to be reckoned with. This is because of the grace of God upon him to predict events that always come to pass as there is nothing he predicted without a fulfillment. It is on record that he predicted the death of late President Yar’Adua while in office, that his administration would not last as there was danger ahead of him. He had also predicted that things would get worse in the area of security because there would be bomb blasts in many places in Nigeria and would be likened to the level of Iraq and Afghanistan, while kidnapping would be on the increase. In this interview with Global Concord, Ituen also advised our leaders to always adopt good predictions as part of the security reports to avert the impending disasters, and urged Nigerians to pray against Military coming back to power through the windows that the government and politicians have left open.
Sir, let’s start with your past predictions, can you recall them?
Actually, there are a lot of them but let me quickly mention a few. It is on record that I predicted the sad death of late President Yar’Adua while in office, that his administration would not last because of the danger ahead. This prediction was published in Daily Sun of June 8, 2007. The removal of the former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria {CBN} Mallam Sanusi, did not take me unawares because I advised him in 2012 to be prayerful over his job and predicted as was published in Daily Sun of January 20, 2014 that he would be retired in a controversial manner and his days in office would be probed, while some of his policies would be reversed. It is also on record that I had predicted from the inception of my ministry the following: The death of the former president Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief MKO Abiola’s political problem, the fall out between General Abacha and Diya, the collapse of Abacha’s transitional programme, the Sudan and Kenya crisis, The emergence of former Liberian warlord-General Yomie Johnson as a senator, who was eventually converted and ordained by me as an Evangelist, the resignation of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo from his position as chairman PDP Board of Trustees, the political defeat of the former governors of Oyo and Imo States in the persons of Alao Akala and Ikedi Ohakim respectively, the emergence of Goodluck Jonathan as President in 2011, the sudden death of the former governor of Kaduna State late Patrick Yakowa, the face-off between President Jonathan and some Northern State governors, the political clash between Obasanjo and President Jonathan, among others. All these were predicted ahead of time and were published in Nigerian dailies.
In 2011 you predicted that there was no solution to bomb blasts, while things would get worse in the area of security. What is your view now?
Yes, this was what God told me, as was published in Daily Sun of July 27, 2011, Sunday Independent of July 3, 2011, Saturday Vanguard of March 19, 2011, that things would get worse in the area of security as there would be no solution to bomb blasts unless we pray hard because it would be likened to the level of Iraq and Afghanistan as there would be bomb blasts in many places in Nigeria, while kidnapping would be on the increase. You should also recall that I predicted in your paper, Global Concord of January 16th, 2013 page 4 that there will be more bombings in many places in Nigeria. These revelations came to me in 2008, but I was propelled by God to predict in 2011. Spiritually speaking, we are still far from the solution. Government should be blamed for ignoring the voice of God. The issue is that when I predicted as was led nobody took me serious. I think it is time for our leaders to take good predictions as part of security reports, and not as criticism because even in the bible God used prophets to warn rulers of impending crises. The truth is that we need God’s directives and divine intervention because Boko Haram is an ideology with agenda and it is only God that can stop them. I am urging government to beckon on men and women of God who are spiritually inclined that can stand in gap between God and this nation to receive raw and undiluted message, and not those that will tell the authority what they want to hear. The fact is that government should go back to my advice and adopt spiritual strategy because the ultimate solution to bomb blasts in Nigeria lies in God’s hands. Furthermore, there is need for Nigerians to pray against Military coming back to power through the windows that the government and politicians have left open.
What is your view on the abducted Chibok girls?
The girls will be rescued but the possibility to rescue all of them is slim. Their rescue is the responsibility of all Nigerians, and it is important all hands should be on deck to achieve this. I therefore appeal to all Nigerians especially our religious leaders to pray to God until these girls are released from captivity. On this note, I have inaugurated a team of intercessors and prayer warriors in our Church as was led by God for speedy and total liberation of these girls since it is the spiritual that controls the physical. I have a strong conviction that with prayers Nigeria will win the war against terror.
You predicted the crisis that rocked PDP, what is the fate of the party?
Nigerians will recall that when this prediction came up, as was published in Daily Sun of January 4, 2013, there was no sign of any crisis in their midst. In that publication I made it clear that People’s Democratic Party {PDP} would be engulfed in serious crisis that would rock the foundation of the party, as there would be division and disunity among them to the extent that their national chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur would face many challenges that would force him to resign or get sacked. At the moment with what I saw, the crisis is far from over as there will be more defections and unless they pray hard, the center will not hold.
You are known for accurate predictions, what should Nigerians expect in 2015?
Elections will be peaceful, that is my prayer but the politicians should not see the elections as do or die affair, they should understand that power comes from God and He gives it to whom he will. I want to advise President Jonathan not to venture into contesting without meeting with a true prophet of his choice to know the will of God, and a way out concerning him. He may find it difficult to get the ticket to fly the flag of his party but if he eventually gets it, there will be a serious protest by his party members that will cause another disunity and defection in their midst. He must be prayerful because I have seen the flag falling from his hands. The All Progressives Congress {APC} will win the 2015 presidential elections . APC should pray against leadership challenges that can threaten the existence of the party, while they should be watchful over confusionists who will disguise themselves as defectors from People’s Democratic Party {PDP}.
