His lordship, Prophet Ekong Ituen is one of Nigeria’s most respected prophets, whose predictions have shaken the high and mighty in the country.It is on record that he predicted the crisis rocking the the People’s Democratic Party to its foundation ans said there will be division and disunity among them and their National chairman,Alhaji Bamanga Tukur will be faced with many challenges that will force him to resign or be sacked.The cleric speaks on the state of the nation and other related matters.

What is your stand on the feud between Obasanjo and Jonathan?
Blame Jonathan for this embarrassment,because I had warned him to be careful with Obasanjo long before time.It is to be noted that before April 2011 election,God gave me the insights of what will be the result and I predicted and told Nigerians that the incumbent Governors of Oyo and Imo states in the persons of Chief Alao Akala and Ikedi Ohakim will be defeated while Jonathan will win as president and i went further to express my fears over his romance with Obasanjo and warned him to be careful with him because Obasanjo has never stood successfully with somebody till the end.I also cautioned Jonathan to beware of sycophants and betrayers around him that will make him to take wrong decisions ans step on toes of those that helped him to power.All these can be seen as was published in Sunday Independent Newspaper of January 30th,2011 page 34.The Nation Newspaper of Febuary 20th,2011 page 68,Saturday Vanguard of march 19th,2011 page 52 and Sunday mirror of April 3rd,2011 page 29.But at the moment Jonathan is highly confused and has lost focus.

The only thing that can put him back on track is a fervent prayer by men of God who are spiritually inclined because his problem is bad advisers and some christian leaders who have confused him because of material reward without telling him the truth and I am scared he may not end up well.On the issue of corruption leveled against him by the ex-president,to me it is a pot calling a kettle black because Obasanjo is guilty of same offence due to the things he did while in power which is worst than what Jonathan is doing.Obasanjo has no moral right to criticise anybody.He came to power with 20,000 Naira and left as a multi-Billionaire.It is unfortunate that Obasanjo now sees the need to fight corruption because he has a political clash with Jonathan.During his days he has promoted the culture of lawlessness and impunity and used EFCC tp suppress the voice of political enemies.I know the government of Jonathan is monumentally corrupt and lack knowledge about governance,but Obasanjo should keep quiet and allow people with integrity to talk.Let me use this medium to appeal to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor,the president of CAN to compel Jonathan as a true Christain and for the sake of christianity to keep to the tenet of his promise if he actually promised to run for a single term because a president of a country should be a man of his words without wavery,because anything outside this is of evil(Matthew 5 verse 37)

He should not allow anybody to pressurise him against his wish otherwise he will be defeated at the poll as earlier predicted and published in the Sun newspaper of January 4th,2013 page 43.

The defection of G-5 governors what is your view?
To me the problem on ground is not all about G-7 or G-5 governors who defected because democracy has to do with the freedom of choice,but let it be known to Mr.President that there are many Judas Iscariots presently among the governors who are claiming to be in his good book,pretending to be loyal and commited to his 2015 project project but worst than G-7 governors.Very soon the president will realise that he was surrounded by enemies,as most of the people very closed to him are more of his enemies than friends but my prayer is for God to endow him with the spirit of discernment to dictate a pure heart before he is betrayed.

What is your advise on the current PDP crisis?
Well,it is unfortunate that the leadership of the country has taken God and his warnings for granted and as long as they are doing this,everything will keep on happening as predicted.It is a known fact that PDP crisis did not take me unawares because I foresaw,predicted and was published in the Sun newspaper of January 4,2013 page 43 that People Democratic Party(PDP)will be engulfed with serious crisis that will rock the foundation of the party,as there will be division and disunity among them and Alhaji Bamanga Tukur,their National chairman will be faced with many challenges that will force him to resign or sacked in future.It is also on record that i predicted and advised president Goodluck Jonathan to be careful with some Northern states governors as they will turn against him and will not be there when he needs them most but the warning was not heeded-hence the out come.I want to tell you that the crisis is far from over and it will affect the fortune of the party in 2015 if not spiritually tackled,because in the nearest future PDP will be a party not to reckon with anymore as the centre will no longer hold.
The only solution to resolve the crisis is by prayer and to accept my advise and adopt my spiritually strategy earlier stated.

Nigeria is blessed with resources yet we are lacking.
What is your take?

Yes we have the resources but lack good managers and good leadership to adress the abysmal poverty rates in the country.It is to be noted that Indonesia and Malaysia had the worst economy than Nigeria several years back.They were poorer than Nigeria in nearly all measures,but today they are Asian Tigers,whose economy has overgrown that of Nigeria.We can only achieve this by having a transformational and a selfless leader,who will be able to provide good leadership in various areas of the economy irrespective of tribe or religion.We need leaders in the likes of late General Murtala Mohammed who within six months put corruption in check.He was able to do this because he was upright,morally sound and led by example,but unfortunately I don’t know of any leader in this country presently who is free from corruption because they are stealing us day and night.For us as a country to move forward and reduce corruption,we have to review the selection process of the corruption fighters.
